Choreography/movement and blocking

I have looked at other indie bands music videos and found that in the performance elements of their videos they often do odd dances and movements to appear quirky and to stand out. It also connotes a sense of fun and attracts the viewers eye, so we have decided that our band will use funny expressions to make this music video stand out, an example of the sort of facial expressions that will be used is on the montage above. We will also use funny dance movements as shown above in our performance and the main male character will also do a funny dance to show him avoiding positive attention. We also noticed how the lyrics match the actions of the band so when our band sings "Get your head down" our band will put their head down at the same time. And our singer will also shake his finger at the camera when he sings "You're not the man you used to be". Also the bass player will have a solo performance when their is a long section of the music is just bass and the bass player will be moving in time with the music. In this section of the video the camera will focus on the bass player as he plays his bass guitar, while making funny expressions.
Here is the dance Vitor is going to do to create a sense of humor.

This is a video showing a bass solo to illustrate how the bassist will perform in our video. This video is inspiration for our choreography because the red hot chili peppers are a similar band to ours.
