Filming update

Today I filmed the rest of the narrative element.

Location: Vitor's house 

Actors: Vitor

Videoing: Sophie (me)

Props: Computer, facepaint and brushes 

This filming was succesful and we managed to film within an hour. We are going to film the performance element Monday 26th November, because everyone in the band is free after college hours on this day.

Here is a long shot of Vitor entering his house. We filmed him walking into the house and up the stairs in separate shots to create a sense of continuity. This breaks up the scenes and reduces time.

The high angle viewing the Vitor climbing the stairs suggests he is changing for the good, as he is climbing and growing. (taking off the make up) It also adds variation to the shots.

This shot allows the audience to view Sophie looking at a picture of Vitor on Facebook. This connotes a sense of youth, due to the use of technology and will attract a young audience. The use of the owl hat also shows the audience it is the same character as before.

 Here are two images viewing before and after the change. In the image where he is applying make up he looks unhappy and the lighting is dark. This creates a sense of sadness. In the next image he has removed the makeup and he is smiling and the lighting is light. This creates a sense of happiness. We can see the clear change. In the second image we are viewing him from the mirror, suggesting he can see clearly and is looking directly at himself in confidence.
